Pressed around a metal-alloy powder core in a single molding step, our one-piece molded inductors offer full magnetic shielding, soft saturation and the best cost-per-amp at production volume.
Molded (one-piece) power inductors embed the winding directly in pressed magnetic alloy powder. Compared with traditional wound-and-shielded parts, they pack more inductance per footprint, radiate far less EMI, and tolerate brutal reflow and vibration profiles.
Our molded series shares materials and process lineage with the co-fired flagship line: the same metal-alloy powder expertise, applied where the application priorities are footprint, shielding and cost rather than absolute maximum current.
